Hello, and welcome to another edition of our Friday Favorites series on The Digital Press blog! I’m excited to bring you yet another post in our newly-revamped Friday Favorites series, where every week we share some of the best creative inspiration we find in the gallery from our amazing community members here at TDP!

Here’s a look at a few of the newest layouts I love from TDP’s gallery this past week (they’re linked up to the original posts in the TDP gallery, so you can click through and leave them some LOVE!)…

First up is this gorgeous page by Renate that just jumped out of the gallery at me. The element placement is perfection and the use of the white background makes it pop! This is a beautiful example of how elements can really take a page to the next level!

Then, I came across this amazing page by Dragonhome that does an excellent job of including lots of photos as well as journaling! The mix of photos, as well as their placement on the page, really helps tell the story. The page design is fantastic as are the pops of color (red, yellow) amid the more low key blues that are used for most of the page!

This next page just spoke to me – I love how weaselwatchr was able to frame the adorable photo with the colorful triangles which gives the page such whimsy! I love the use of orange and yellow together as they are such a wonderful complimentary combination!

I adore ‘slice of life’ pages and this one by sylvia about laundry is just fantastic! I adore the large (and perfect) photo showing the laundry which really sets the stage for the rest of the page! The elements are the perfect addition to the page! And the mostly blue, with pops of orange and yellow color combination, gives the page such a beautiful balance!

One of my favorite things is a page that uses white space well! This page by Dalis is an amazing use of white space. I just adore those hearts and scribbles! The photo is fantastic and I adore the placements of the stitching, paint & other embellishments!

This final page by Mother Bear is just stunning! The black & white patterned paper background with the gorgeous flower clusters and the black and white photos … WOW! Such a beautifully composed page! The design just eases the eye across the page so beautifully!

I hope you’ve enjoyed this installment of our newly-revamped Friday Favorites series today! I had so much fun looking through the pages of inspiration that can be found in the gallery here at The Digital Press. I always feel like my creativity soars after browsing through all the amazing layouts!

Meanwhile, if you’re looking for even more scrappy inspiration… check out this weekend’s New Release products, as well… and then get creative, add your projects to the gallery, and perhaps you will be featured here in a future Friday Favorites post!

Here’s a look at a few of the newest layouts I love from TDP’s gallery this past week (they’re linked up to the original posts in the TDP gallery, so you can click through and leave them some LOVE!)…

First up is this sweet page by southernmother.  How gorgeous is this page! I absolutely love the color scheme and those amazing patterns. Her photos are just the sweetest and the little clusters around the photos are so beautifully done! Lovely use of the word bits and title work as well!

Next is this beautiful photoless page by HappyMamacita! I am such a fan of photoless pages but never feel like I can pull it off well. This page is just stunning. I love the patterned hearts and the sweet simple embellishments and word bits added to them. The scatter and coffee stains are absolutely perfect touches!

I love the beautiful fall photos in this layout by lady22! That photo is just so beautiful! I love the way she has set if off with the neutral paper on top of the gorgeous pattern! The tiny flowers and perfectly places word art pieces are stunning. The camera element and cameraman stamp are just the right touches. Wonderful layout and precious memory!

While browsing around the gallery, I also found some “oldies but goodies” that I thought I would share with you! So, here are some throwbacks from our amazing gallery!

How beautiful is this page by chigirl?! The peach and orange tones are absolutely lovely!! I really adore how she included the pops of green and blue as well. I love the placement of the photo to the side and her lovely cluster of flowers and elements. The use of the frame is so creative! This is just a gorgeous page!

Then I found this lovely page by elainem! I am in love with that split background design. Those two patterns look fantastic together! The photos are just the cutest and I really like how she used the other patterns and the scatter behind the photos to really set them off. Such a beautifully done layout!

I also found this stunning page by Margje! Her blending work is totally fabulous! I love how the photo, frame, and paints all blend together so perfectly! Fantastic work with the stamps and doodles as well! I adore that title work, too!!

Hello, and welcome to another edition of our Friday Favorites series on The Digital Press blog! I’m excited to bring you yet another post in our newly-ravamped Friday Favorites series, where every week we share some of the best creative inspiration we find in the gallery from our amazing community members here at TDP!

Here’s a look at a few of the newest layouts I love from TDP’s gallery this past week (they’re linked up to the original posts in the TDP gallery, so you can click through and leave them some LOVE!)…

First up is this stunning page by MotherBear! I am such a huge fan of her work, and this shows so many reasons why. I love the soft pastels with the bold black hexagons. The light and airy feel of the page, yet still grounded with the bold title and the shadows… to die for!  Just lovely.

Next, I’ve picked out a more grungy page by Silvia! I love the grungy feel of this page, yet the lines are still very clean… and the arrows with the fantastic shadowing is perfect! The gray background really makes those arrows pop, and pictures really tell a story.

Th next layout is a gorgeous white space layout by sucali. I really love this page. I love the wood background with the black and white photo, and the perfect placement of just enough elements and a bold title. The layout just makes me want to stop what I’m doing and relax… it’s so calming!

I wanted to add some “oldies-but-goodies” for your eye candy enjoyment, today, so here are a few throwback layouts I found in the gallery, also…

First up… I just love the clean look of this layout by Anne PC! When I look at this photo, I automatically smile! I love all the pastel circles of color against the white background, and who doesn’t love a huge title? Such a clean look, and it’s visually stunning. Love this!

Next… check out this artsy page by Margje. This page is FANTASTIC! I love all the paint and brushwork, and that picture is so much fun with the image reflecting off of her sunglasses! Very cool.

And last but not least… is this gorgeous page by ReneeB. I have to admit that as much as I love all the different styles of scrapping, my go-to is always a full page with lots of pictures and lots of fun stuff to look at (and this page does not disappoint!). Just beautiful!

It’s always so much fun to browse through all of the beautiful inspiration that can be found in the gallery here at The Digital Press. When I’m in a scrapbooking rut, browsing it can always get me in such a creative, scrappy mood!

Be sure to check out the gallery, and then head over to the shop to check out this weekend’s newest product releases so you can grab some new scrappy goodies and then post your resulting projects in the gallery! Hello, and welcome to another edition of our Friday Favorites series on The Digital Press blog! I’m excited to bring you yet another post in our newly-ravamped Friday Favorites series, where every week we share some of the best creative inspiration we find in the gallery from our amazing community members here at TDP!

It’s always so much fun to browse through all of the crafty inspiration that can be found in the gallery here at The Digital Press… and it always gets me into such a great, scrappy mood!

Here’s a look at a few of the newest gems I found in TDP’s gallery this past week (each page is linked to the gallery so you can leave the original artists some love)…

First up is his great page from September 2019 Guest Designer Shannel Tamara (of Gone Digital Design). I love the graphic look with the cut out triangle shapes, the gorgeous composition with the pictures and the elements, and the broken up journaling and stamps…

I also loved this page Sucali. The sweetness of the colors and the picture with the clean design is really each catching. The color harmony is perfect!

Finally, I found this amazing page by dawnfarias (a.k.a. Dawn, the designer behind Dawn by Design). I love that there are two distinct parts of the page, as if it was a traveler’s notebook spread. And the handwritten journaling is just perfect…

I also found a few “throwback” layouts in the gallery while searching around and admiring all of the newer eye-candy…

The first one is from ninigoesdigi — another designer here at The Digital Press. I love everything in this page: the clean design, the Polaroid-style pictures, and the Japanese characters. The brush and paint foundation bring depth and visual impact to the overall design…

I also adored this project by LilliJ. The theme and the colors of the layout remind me that summer is not yet finished in the northern hemisphere. The layered design gives a great graphic appearance, and the text strips are a nice touch in addition to the journaling…

And finally, I’ve chosen this page by blackkathy. It’s the opposite of the previous page (winter instead of summer!)… so that’s a fun change. The white space is really eye-catching and helps keep the focus on the central layered design. The shadowing is really nice, too…

As always, it’s just so much fun to browse through all of the crafty inspiration that can be found in the gallery here at The Digital Press… it always gets me into such a great, scrappy mood!

Come take a peek, yourself… and then make sure you swing by the shop to check out this weekend’s newest product releases and come leave a few projects in the gallery, yourself! We’ll be looking forward to seeing your handiwork really soon (and maybe you’ll be featured in a future edition of this Friday Favorites series here on the blog!).

Hello, and welcome to another edition of our Friday Favorites series here on The Digital Press blog! Today we’ve got some really fantastic creative inspiration to share with you, straight from our crafty and amazing community members here at TDP.

Here’s a look at a few of the newest layouts I found in TDP’s gallery this past week (they’re linked up to the original posts in the TDP gallery, so you can click through and leave them some LOVE!)…

First up is this gorgeous page by Chili. I was immediately drawn to the bright colors and patterns. The picture still stands out beautifully and is really balanced with the embellishments… and that red lip color is to-die-for!

Next up is this perfectly summery and sunshiney layout by Jaye. I love the black and white photo with the colorful embellishments. And who doesn’t need a reminder to take a break, relax, and get some fresh air?

Check out this next layout by one of our very own TDP designers — Joyce Paul. It’s a beautiful tribute page. I love the flower stamps with pops of pink flowers and that black and white photo with the ornate frame…

I also found some “oldies-but-goodies” in the gallery while searching around and admiring all of the gorgeous eye-candy, so I’ve included a few throwback layouts here today, as well…

First, I’m a sucker for clean lines and geometric shapes… so I really love this layout by Laurie

In addition to loving clean lines & geometric shapes, I big-puffy-heart LOVE white space on layouts! Or, in this case… black space. 🙂 Check out this one by rchansen

And last but certainly not least, there is also this gorgeous layout by GlazeFamily3. To be honest, I’ve fan-girled over her layouts for a long time. Her page designs are stunning and this layout with the black & white photos and soft pastel paper strips…  :::sigh:::  …it’s beautiful!

It’s always so much fun to browse through all of the beautiful inspiration that can be found in the gallery here at The Digital Press. When I’m in a scrapbooking rut, it always helps me to get me in a creative, scrappy mood!

Friday Favorites | September 6, 2019

Hello, and welcome to our newest Friday blog feature here at The Digital Press. I’m excited to bring you the first post in our newly-ravamped Friday Favorites series, where we will be sharing some creative inspiration from our amazing community members here at TDP every Friday!

Here’s a look at a few of the newest gems I found in TDP’s gallery this past week (each page is linked to the gallery so you can leave the original artists some love)…

First up is this fantastic layout by Mother Bear. I just love the clustering on this page — all those tiny little elements, so carefully layered together. The flow of the page is great, too, with that simple red tag at the top starting your journey and pointing the way to the fun photos. Did you notice how the color palette for the layout mimics the colors in the photo?

Next up is another beachy layout I chose from Anne PC (it’s the end of winter in Australia, so I’ll take all the warmth and sunshine I can get!) — and what caught my eye here was the mix of shapes. The circular photo layered on top of the patterned paper grid design is a great idea that I might have to steal on one of my future layouts! The summer tag also adds a nice pop of color against the predominantly blue and white page.

I also loved this page from ElaineU. Back-to-school pages are big in the gallery right now… but how about an end of year layout? Look at that smile! Quick pages can be great ways to catch up on your memory-keeping. Add a great photo (the choice of black and white photo was brilliant here) along with some journaling, and you’re good to go.

While browsing the gallery and admiring all the gorgeous eye-candy, I also found a few older “throwback” layouts in the gallery to share with you today, as well…

First, this simply yet lovely page by sylvia. I love the clean lines of this layout, and the pinks against the grey create a softness. A few dimensional elements just add that special ‘something’ to the page.

This next page by Margie just drew me in right away… not only for the adorable photo (oh my, cleaning that face would have been fun!), but also for the layers of brushes and stamps. Like the other page above, just a few elements is all it needs.

My final page to share with you today is this one by knclark of Papa’s little barefoot helper. I really like the larger, slightly blended photo that highlights the young man’s efforts. The paint splatters remind me of mud, too.

I hope you’ve enjoyed the first installment of our newly-revamped Friday Favorites series today! I had so much fun looking through the pages of inspiration that can be found in the gallery here at The Digital Press. Whether I’m in a scrapping rut and looking for ideas, or I just want to see what everyone’s been up to… the gallery is always a great place to look around.

Meanwhile, if you’re looking for even more scrappy inspiration… check out this weekend’s New Release products, as well… and then get creative, add your projects to the gallery, and perhaps you will be featured here in a future Friday Favorites post!
